Puerto Banús is one of the most recognized nautical and tourist enclaves in Europe. In 2024, with the support of the Junta de Andalucía, Marbella City Council, Málaga Provincial Council and Costa del Sol Commonwealth of Municipalities, the famous port hosts the sustainable event with the greatest international projection: E1, the electric Formula -1 of the sea. E1 is a new global sport with the only electric motor authorized by the International Motorcycle Union.

Date: 1st - 2nd of June 2024.

The teams will compete in Puerto Banus in the qualifying races, and the semi-final and final will be held on Sunday. E1 will promote:

– Sustainability: Exclusively electric competition.

– Equality: Each team is made up of a man and a woman who must compete for exactly the same amount of time in the races; all teams race in the same type of boat, RaceBird, prioritizing the skills of the pilots to reach the podium.

– Exclusivity: International recognition of captains who are unique in their respective sports careers. Icons of the most successful sports careers with the greatest global projection will captain each of the E1 participating teams: Rafa Nadal, Sergio Pérez, Didier Drogba, Tom Brady, Marc Anthony, Steve Aoki, among others. The drivers are professionals from the Dakar, Trial, W Series or Formula Ford. Spain is represented by Laia Sanz and Cris Lazarraga, both international motor stars.

– Glamour: Puerto Banús is positioned as a venue at the level of Monaco, Geneva, Venice and Hong Kong.

Estimated accumulated audience is more than 1,000 million on social media on 4 platforms.

Among the most anticipated upcoming golf events is Los Naranjos Trophy 2024. For the 30th edition, the players from all over the world, of different ages, nationalities and level of play will compete to win.

Ladies Summer Golf League.

The Ladies Summer League returns to Los Naranjos Golf Club. Every Wednesday in June and July you can enjoy playing golf. Each week there will be an award ceremony and at the end of the league there will be a final award ceremony, along with a dinner and a party where the friends and family of the golfers will be more than welcome.

Marbella Tenniselaager will take part in the Royal Tennis Club , April 22-25. From Monday to Wednesday you can practice twice a day and on Thursday enjoy a Camp Tournament.

Ironman in Marbella is a very anticipated event of the year, marking another chapter in the prestigious global Ironman series.

Date: 27th of October 2024.

This triathlon will challenge athletes with a course of swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, cycle through rolling hills and run along Marbella's beautiful promenades and historic streets. This involves a total length of:

• 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim course
• 90 km (56 mile) bike course
• 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run course

Puerto Banus (Marbella) and nearest towns offer excellent marinas for regattas and events for different classes of boats. Each year a Semana Nautica (Nautical Week) invites to take part in jet-ski races, sailing, paddle surfing and fishing events.

Rosa Carnerero, our Listings Administrator, a sports enthusiast and Crossfit lover shares an important event that brings many people from across Europe to Marbella: Marbella Championship 2024. This event is a competition with an official CrossFit license.

Trocadero Marbella Rugby Club  is a sports community that promotes the practice of rugby in and around Marbella. Located in Marbella East, the club welcomes all players from 4 years old to veterans of 60+.

In 2024, Rugby Tour Spain has announced for the very first time Harlequins Rugby Club coming to Marbella Rugby Club to run a 3-day rugby camp for kids from 8 to 18. Let’s hope it will become a new tradition!
